The CAMRA Poster that London Underground won't Allow(2006)
Camra has a beer festival in London in August and as part of their advertising for the event got permission to use Harry Beck's style of map. A bit of a laugh Except....
However London Underground have now reneged on the deal as they "no longer like to be associated with alcohol". Fair enough that according to this page, 934 accidents had alcohol as a factor. But 2164 accidents seemed to be age and/or open toed sandals. So are they going to ban elderly and/or open toed sandal weearers? If not is this just political correctness? Mind you, it's not the first time that London Underground have got a bit upset about versions of their maps.
