Act on Co2 - A big lie(2009)
Act on co2 is a publicly funded TV (and other media) campaign by the Government to convince the British Public that Co2 is making the world warmer. This is despite ample evidence to the contrary. Even the BBC which has repeatedly spread the "climate change" propaganda (remember who sets the Licence tax for BBC- the Government), now has articles such as "What happened to global warming?".

How to tell big lies
First you mention Global Warming but as people see that the Earth isn't warming (1998 was the warmest year on record- the BBC and others say so), you change the name to "Climate Change". Note, Global Warming caused by greenhouse gases is a scientific phenomena that exists- it's believed that Venus with 95% Co2 atmosphere and 450 degrees centigrade is an example. Co2 makes up 0.038% of the Earth's atmosphere. No scientists disputes that. But stretching it to say that Co2, the gas we all exhale and which feeds plants and trees is causing the now non existent warm up. Where's the proof? Water vapour (clouds) is a far worse greenhouse gas. Mind you if we got rid of the clouds the earth probably would heat up!
This is not to deny that the Earth has heated up since 1970 but it is now cooling despite the co2. In 1970 scientists were convinced that an ice age loomed. Maybe it will now, not that I want one!
Climate change is a stupid phrase really. It means what you want it to mean. Short term climate change is also known as "the weather".
Carbon is a pollutant. Say carbon and people think soot. Yeuch! Dirty. That's semantics and it's why all the warmists (people who foolishly believe that co2 is warming the earth's surface) use it instead of co2. Ie when they say carbon in "Carbon trading", they mean Carbon Dioxide (Co2) which gives life to trees and plants. How can that be a pollutant? There's probably a warmist bible with quotes like "Don't say Co2 or Carbon dioxide, instead always say carbon.". But we the people can see through that now.
So who are these scientists debunking the United Nations, the IPCC and those governments who are using the pretext of (non existent) Global warming to try and make a lot of money? Here is a list of my heroes speaking out against the warmists. There are lots more linked on those websites.

Global Warming is an excuse to tax and control
There are some green environmentalists who would appear to be happy to see the end of man kind or at least drive us back a few hundred years in development. Add to them companies who see a way to make money. They and the taxing Governments want you to believe in co2 as evil.
